Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Dear Humanity, I Love You., we want you to love what you wear. At the same time, we are a small business and appreciate your understanding as we grow.

Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

Exchanges

We currently offer exchanges only, and we’re happy to help under the following conditions:

  • Exchange requests must be made within 14 days of delivery

  • Once approved, the item must be mailed back within a reasonable timeframe

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability

  • Exchanges are intended to help with sizing and are only available for the same item in a different size

  • Each original item purchased may be exchanged only one time.

with your order number, the item you’d like to exchange, and the new size you’d like instead.

Exchange Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for paying the return shipping costs of the original item back to us

  • Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will ship the replacement item

We recommend using a trackable shipping method when sending items back for exchange.

Refunds

At this time, we do not offer refunds.

This allows us to continue creating small-batch products thoughtfully and sustainably.

Sale Items

All sale or discounted items are final sale and are not eligible for exchange.

Exchange Eligibility

To be eligible for an exchange, items must be returned in their original condition:

  • Unworn

  • Unwashed

  • Free of odors, stains, or damage

We reserve the right to refuse exchanges if items do not meet these conditions.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided the order has not yet shipped.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is incorrect or appears to have a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery so we can make it right.

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

If an item appears to have been damaged during shipping, please contact us as soon as possible. While shipping damage is the responsibility of the carrier, we’re happy to assist you with next steps, including filing a claim when applicable.
